We are seeking an experienced front-end developer with proven industry experience of at least 2 years. Working under the guidance of our Head of WordPress Development, you will be joining a growing team, have flexitime and home working options, and have the ability to progress within the company.

Essential

  • Experience building bespoke WordPress themes from design to production
  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3
  • Strong knowledge of WordPress theme-development best practices
  • Strong knowledge of GIT
  • Working knowledge of ES6 JS and functional PHP
  • Experience using SCSS/LESS
  • At least 2 years WordPress theme development experience
  • At least 5 website examples (portfolio) that you had a major role in the development of

Desirable

Front End Developer (Magento)

Kuki are seeking an experienced front-end developer with proven industry experience in Magento 1 and 2.

You should have a portfolio to showcase and at least 2 years experience in a similar role. Semantic markup, DRY CSS, progressive enhancement, box model and document flow should be part of your vocabulary. A solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JS and a can-do attitude is more important than knowledge of tools and frameworks. A desire to learn, share and evolve your skills.

Working under the guidance of our Technical Director & Head of Commerce, you will be joining a growing team, have a new MacBook Pro, have flexitime and home working options, have the ability to progress within the company, and take accreditations.

Essential Skills

  • Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3 and JS
  • Experience with version control (Git/SVN) and workflows
  • SEO and commerce awareness
  • Knowledge of CLi tools
  • Experience with task runners, package managers, and CSS pre-processors
  • Can write compliant, documented, optimised and reusable code

Overview

Kuki has, in the past, not really ever done any sales and marketing because our clients usually come to us from recommendations and word of mouth, backed up with our Managing Directors’ 24-year history in the industry and wide connections. But we are now seeking a personable, knowledgeable Business Development Manager to help us focus on new business opportunities as we grow.

You will have support from our Managing Director, often pointing you in the right direction, but you will need to open your own doors also in specific sectors in which we specialise.

We HATE pressure selling so if that’s you please move on. We LOVE building solid and lasting client relationships backed up by exceptional work and customer service.

Own transportation is essential. Travel expenses covered by Kuki.

Digital Project Manager (position now filled)

Overview

We are looking for someone with previous project or account management experience, ideally within digital.

Training will be provided even if you do have experience, to ensure you work to Kuki standards as we are passionate about website build quality and security.

As a Digital Project Manager at Kuki, you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing website development projects to ensure they are completed on time and on budget
  • Liaising with clients (some out of office meetings and travel may be required)
  • Ensuring our development team have properly completed development checklists and signed the project off
  • Double checking websites have been completed properly (carrying out additional pre-launch and post-launch website checks)

We are seeking a creative who is confident with Adobe Creative Cloud tools like Photoshop and Illustrator.
